What do you need for these Frozen Yogurt Barks with Berries?

Greek Yogurt: Use full fat plain Greek yogurt. It’s a great source of protein and probiotics.

Berries: I used a mix of frozen raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries for these bars, but you could use any or all! Strawberries would also of course be delicious. You can use frozen or fresh berries for this recipe. If you want the sweetest flavor then use any of your favorite in-season fresh berries.

Vanilla Extract: Vanilla extract adds a wonderful flavor.

Nut Butter: I have used peanut butter for this recipe, but you could totally swap this with almond butter or cashew butter.

Chocolate: Melted chocolate swirled on top is a great addition for these frozen yogurt barks but it is totally optional. I personally love the sweetness that the chocolate adds to these bars.

How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bark

Making frozen yogurt bark is simple it can hardly be considered a recipe. Here’s what to do:

  • Mix yogurt with a bit of vanilla extract.
  • Spread the yogurt mixture onto a baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with toppings of your choice.
  • Transfer to the freezer until frozen.
  • Slice into pieces and enjoy!

How Long Does Frozen Yogurt Bark Keep?

This yogurt bark will keep well in the freezer for up to a month. Once you cut the bark into squares, transfer them to a freezer bag or safe container.

You can enjoy them straight from the freezer so they are always on hand! The yogurt bark will melt within a few minutes, so you will need to keep it in the freezer after you cut it. I like taking it out and letting it sit for about 3-5 minutes before eating.

What’s The Best Yogurt To Use?

Greek yogurt is by far the best to use when making frozen yogurt bark. It has a lower water content than regular yogurt so it doesn’t develop an icy texture when it freezes. I prefer to use full fat, but non-fat and 2% also work well.

Do You Want Them A Bit Sweeter?

There is a nice contrast between the plain yogurt and fruit. If you want something a bit sweeter, add a tablespoon or two of maple syrup. If you want them to be sweet and sugar free just add a few drops of stevia.

What Else Can I Put On My Bark?

The options are endless for making a great yogurt bark! Depending on what you’re craving, or what types of fruit are in season, you can make a different flavor of bark every time.

  • Cherries
  • Dried fruit
  • Jam, swirled on top like the chocolate
  • Maple syrup
  • Macadamia nuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews
